<Practical Life 일상영역>

Practical life activities involve real-life materials and a step-by-step technique. The  life skills are to help independence, coordination, concentration, self-control, self-awareness and confidence. 

몬테소리 환경에서 가장 기본이 되는 일상영역은 일상에 필요한 기본기술을 얻는 활동입니다. 

이 활동을 통해 어린이들은 독립심, 조작능력 및 협응력, 자기조절력과 자신감을 얻게 됩니다. 

<Sensorial 감각영역>

Children learn and distinguish size, shape and colour as well as develop the sense of order through sensoral activities. These works also connected to future learning in math and language. 

어린이들은 감각영역 활동을 통해 오감을 이용하여 크기, 형, 색을 배우고 차이를 구별해 내는 경험을 통해 질서감을 발달시켜나갑니다.  수와 언어영역에서 앞으로의 배울 것들을 위한 간접준비 작업들이기도 합니다. 

<Language 언어영역>

Montessori language materials are designed primarily to teach children the intricacies of written and spoken language. In advance introducing the letters, children experience various activities such as puzzles encourage children develop visual discrimination for character recognition. 

소리와 음을 이용하여 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기, 읽기 네 가지 영역의 발달을 도와주는 영역으로, 글자를 익히기에 앞서 퍼즐과 같이 문자인식을  위한 다양한 시각 분별력 활동을 경험하게 됩니다. 

<Mathematics 수영역>

Children become aware of patterns and relationships in the world around them and they develop an interest in classifying and ordering the environment. The children are provided the hands-on Montessori materials such as Number Rods and Golden Beads make it easy to even difficult concepts, and learning the concrete before the abstract only make sense. Montessori math curriculum deals with numbers to ten as well as teens, tens and hundreds, decimal system, the four operations. 

패턴과 관계성, 분류와 순서에 대한 수 민감기를 지나는 어린이들에게 수막대, 금색구슬 등의 실제적인 교구의 제공은 1-10의 수와 양, 숫자 뿐 아니라 십진법, 사칙연산의 어려운 추상적인 활동도 쉽게 배워나갈 수 있도록 돕습니다. 

<Culture & Science 문화영역> 

Montessori culture and science curriculum encompasses geography, history, zoology, botany and science. Because this curriculum focuses on learning about the world around us, whenever possible materials for the activities are real objects. At DASOM, children explore each subject every month in children's age and level depending on children's interests.

몬테소리 문화 및 과학영역은 동물, 식물, 지리, 인체, 천체, 역사, 과학을 아우르는 교육과정입니다. 우리를 둘러싸는 세상을 배우는 것에 중점을 두기 때문에 교구 역시 가능한 한 실물을 사용합니다. 다솜에서는 아이들이 흥미와 관심에 따라서 한 달에 한 주제씩 연령과 수준에 맞추어 다루고 있습니다.
